Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves working in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines, to assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving their treatment goals.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment comprehensively.
• Assist in educating patients on therapy processes and home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and any concerns or changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control measures, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Proven ability to follow treatment plans and effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
