X-Ray Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
• Prepare and maintain equipment, ensuring proper functioning before and after procedures.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff or students as needed.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record.
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
• State licensure as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging techniques.
• Ability to work night shifts and maintain flexibility in scheduling.

Shift Information

This position requires working a 4×10 hour night shift from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
