Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients in developing and restoring their functional independence. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with education for patients and their families regarding therapy goals and progress.
• Communicate patient status and any concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license, or ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
