MRI Technician

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician to join our healthcare team. This position offers a structured work schedule of four 10-hour shifts from Tuesday to Friday, providing a work-life balance while ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care.

Position Details

• Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• On-Call: No on-call requirements
• Weekends: No weekend shifts
• Overnights: No overnight shifts

Responsibilities

The MRI Technician will be responsible for the following:

• Performing MRI scans on patients as per physician requests.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process.
• Maintaining and calibrating MRI equipment to ensure accurate imaging results.
• Assisting in patient preparation and educating them about the procedure.
• Recording and managing patient data as necessary.
• Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Valid MRI license or certification as per state regulations.
• Previous experience in MRI scanning preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
