MRI Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technician for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, from Tuesday to Friday, with hours from 6 AM to 4:30 PM. This position does not require on-call duties, weekend shifts, or overnight hours, providing a consistent work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients while adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort and understanding of the procedure prior to the scan.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Collaborate with other medical personnel to ensure quality patient care.
• Operative MRI machinery and equipment in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certification in MRI technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• Licensed as an MRI Technologist (specific state licensing may be required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols.
