Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position will focus on providing high-quality patient care in the endoscopy unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic practices, ensuring a safe and effective environment.
• Monitor patients’ vitals and health status before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and their families about preparations and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Shift Information:

• Day shift hours may vary (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• No weekend shifts unless called in for emergency coverage.
• 1-2 weekday call shifts per week after regular hours until 7:00 AM.
• 1-2 weekend call shifts every six weeks, with 24-hour availability on Saturday and Sunday.
• One-hour response time required for call shifts.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Endoscopy nursing experience required.
• Active Ohio RN License or a compact state RN License.
• Current ACLS and BLS certification is required.
