Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide quality therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. This role is vital in helping patients develop and restore functional independence in their daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist in educating patients and their families about therapy processes and goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain a license.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
