Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will adhere to all state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines while assisting patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with patient and family education to enhance understanding of therapy goals.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a secure treatment environment.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
