Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on monitoring and managing patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.

Shift Details

• Night shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data to identify any changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license in hand.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
