Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary

Provide skilled speech, language, and swallowing therapy in accordance with state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. Responsible for evaluating patients, planning treatment, and delivering therapy to enhance communication and swallowing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans based on patient needs.
• Document services in compliance with state regulations and facility standards.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA).
• Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
