Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant, where you will provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). You will play a crucial role in assisting patients to restore mobility, enhance their functional abilities, and meet their treatment objectives in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the PT’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately.
• Assist in patient education, including home exercise programs.
• Communicate pertinent patient status updates to the supervising PT.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to infection control and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Possess an active state PTA license or have the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to adhere to treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
