CT Technologist

Shift Information

Shifts are 10 hours with varied timings. Please note that no requests for time off (RTO) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Minimum Experience

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.

Certifications and Requirements

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
• A current Radiologic Technologist license from the state of Hawaii must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment.
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved exemption must be submitted prior to the start date.

Job Description

Candidates must be proficient in performing routine CT scans and should be able to adhere to radiologist protocols. The role requires independent functioning with minimal supervision.

General Requirements

• At least two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is advantageous.
• Skills in venipuncture, maximum intensity projections (MIP), multi-planar reconstructions (MPR), 3D imaging, biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging are a plus.
• Experience in trauma or stroke cases is desirable.
