Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator to join our team for an immediate 13-week assignment. This position requires expertise in orthopedic procedures, general surgery, and obstetrics, specifically in C-sections.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring effective communication and coordination among the surgical team.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
• Monitor patient care during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Provide support and assistance to surgeons and surgical staff during various procedures, including orthopedic (total joints), general, OB, and other surgical specialties.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating room setting.
• Proficiency in orthopedic surgeries, general surgery, and obstetric C-sections.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Experience with special procedures and equipment used in Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, and Endoscopy.

Schedule:

Shifts are Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 15:00. Call required every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday.
