Registered Nurse (RN) – Special Care Nursery

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Special Care Nursery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Special Care Nursery/Level II, along with expertise in delivery room operations. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to newborns in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for infants in the Special Care Nursery.
• Assist in the delivery room as needed and support all aspects of newborn care.
• Float to postpartum for baby care assignments as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.

Qualifications

• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in Special Care Nursery.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Experience in a delivery room setting is mandatory.
• Charge nurse or preceptor experience is preferred, but not required.

Shift and Schedule

• 4×12 hour shifts during the day (06:50 – 19:20).
• Availability for every other weekend is required.
