Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. As a Med/Surg Tele RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting. This role requires critical thinking and strong clinical skills to monitor and manage patient care effectively.

Shift Details

This position involves working night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with medical and surgical conditions.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, medications, and health management.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• MUST have a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Additional Information
