Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry setting, ensuring their safety and well-being during their hospital stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings, recognizing potential complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and medication use.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Valid nursing license for Ohio or a compact state.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
