Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift Details

5×8 Days, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating call responsibilities. Weekday on-call hours are from 3:30 PM to midnight, and weekend on-call hours are from 7:00 AM to midnight on both Saturday and Sunday.

Job Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials. This position requires interaction with patients and healthcare team members to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
• Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring quality control and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures performed.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment and assist in minor repairs as necessary.
• Evaluate and determine the need for additional imaging procedures based on patient diagnosis.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
• First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.
• Must hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred certifications include CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine).

This position is located within a 75-mile radius from the facility. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technologies.
