Physical Therapist Assistant

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines. This role is focused on assisting patients in restoring mobility, improving overall function, and achieving individualized treatment goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions according to the PT’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately.
• Assist with patient education and develop home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising PT.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards in all practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
