Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The successful candidate will adhere to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines while assisting patients in developing and restoring functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist’s plan of care.
• Accurately and promptly document patient progress.
• Assist with education for patients and their families.
• Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state COTA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
