Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Tele

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work night shifts, providing essential care to patients in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the MS/Tele unit.
• Monitor patient status and recognize any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in patient education and support families throughout the recovery process.

Shift Details

This position requires availability for night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts each week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing.
• Current and valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS from AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to starting the position.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, nurses will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory.
