Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position offers the opportunity to work night shifts and involves every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health management.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license (or pending) in the state of Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
• Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is necessary.
• Must comply with floating policies as required.
• Availability to work 36 or 48 hours per week, with nights scheduled from 19:00 to 07:00.

Additional Information

Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed. Time off requests can be approved for a maximum of 40 hours. Please note that time off for Labor Day weekend cannot be approved.
