Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in various shifts, including day and night, across multiple units as needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering effective dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer dialysis treatments to patients, monitoring their health status throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures and manage their expectations.
• Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
• Float to other units, departments, or patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs.
• Participate in holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical setting.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be assessed based on low, mid, and high performer expectations. It is important that all staff meet the expected standards of performance. Please note that if performance does not meet expectations, the contract may be terminated immediately.
