Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. This position offers a flexible schedule with a focus on outpatient therapy and occasional inpatient care. The therapist will work with a diverse patient population, addressing various diagnoses across different age groups.

Shifts and Hours

• Shift Type: Days
• Shift Length: 8 or 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients of varying ages and diagnoses.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in speech therapy.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• Active license in Minnesota; Iowa license preferred for potential floating to additional locations.

Work Environment

The position is primarily located in a 25-bed critical access hospital, which also houses an outpatient department. The therapist may need to float to other regional locations as required, with a team available to assist during orientation and training.

Dress Code

Business casual attire is required, with specific options including polo shirts in Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, or Chocolate Brown.

Training and Orientation

New hires will receive a comprehensive tour of the department, including training on documentation and department-specific equipment. Staff support will be available to address any questions or provide guidance as needed.
