Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Perform triage and prioritize patient needs based on clinical urgency.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
• Participate in emergency response protocols for critical situations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Previous experience in an emergency department or critical care setting preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Schedule

This position requires a 36-hour work week, with night shifts and every other weekend and holiday availability.
