Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical telemetry unit. The role includes assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and telemetry data
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with patient assessments and evaluations
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
• Document patient care and progress in accordance with facility policies

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by AHA
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification by AHA

Shift Details

This position is for the night shift, requiring three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Contract Duration

Contract options are available for 13-20 weeks.
