Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our Emergency Department team. This role requires a dedicated professional with experience in respiratory care, especially within the emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer respiratory therapies and medications as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and disease management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and interventions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Current licensure as an RRT in Ohio.
• NBRC and BLS certification must be valid and in hand at the time of submission.
• Ability to work weekends and float as needed within multiple locations in the region.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

This position involves three 12-hour night shifts per week.
