Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Position

We are seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves a day shift schedule of five 8-hour days, typically from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend coverage is usually required every fourth weekend, dependent on staffing needs, along with weekday coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
• Participate in call rotation as required by staffing needs.
• Float between like units or sister facilities to meet patient care requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is required.
• Current SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required.

Miscellaneous Information

• Open to accommodating block scheduling with prior approval.
• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered on a case-by-case basis.
• All requests for time off must be submitted with the application and will be evaluated based on facility needs.
• The facility is permitted to call off one shift every two weeks.
