Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry

Shift Details

This position requires working night shifts, comprising three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The candidate will be expected to work at least every other holiday.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse in this role will provide care for patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience in telemetry care, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry.
• At least 12 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty area applying for is required.
• Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIH certification must be obtained prior to the start date.
• Must have Epic experience.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applying specialty is required for submission.

Assessment Requirements

During orientation, the candidate will be required to complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment. An acceptable score on both assessments is required.
