Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for interpreting medical care plans, assessing patients’ clinical needs, and ensuring that nursing care is delivered safely and competently. This role involves providing individualized nursing care and evaluating the effectiveness of nursing interventions for groups of patients.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
• Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients’ conditions.
• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans based on responses and conditions.
