Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide essential services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). This role will involve assisting patients in developing and restoring functional independence in compliance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the OT plan of care.
• Accurately and timely document patient progress.
• Assist in patient and family education regarding therapy goals and techniques.
• Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising OT.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or ability to obtain.
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
