Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role involves assisting patients in restoring mobility, enhancing function, and achieving their treatment goals in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy interventions as per the Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
• Document patient progress and responses to treatment effectively.
• Assist in educating patients and guiding them through home exercise programs.
• Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
• Capable of following treatment plans and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
